This file is my thesis for Okaw Valley Council's College of Commissioner Science.
A problem was noted within this council and what I believe to be nation wide in transition of Webelos aged boys to Boy Scouts. The Thesis identifys several problems in program and outside sources as possible contributors to Webelos age drop out of Scouting.
The thesis also contains a teaching outline for Unit Commissioner training as well as a color coded Transitional Program designed to assist the Cubmaster, Webelos Den Leader, Scoutmaster and Unit Commissioner in a smooth transition into the Troop. The program begins in October the year prior to the Webelos graduation, and outlines step by step what each leader should do to make the transition a sucess!
You really need Word Perfect 6.0, although I would consider E-Mail Request of a ASCII version, but this verson (ASCII) will not have the color graphics and general format.
This file is provided in a Zipped format to speed the download. It is quite large because of the graphics that are included, and will take at least 30 minutes to download with a 28.8 MODEM. You WILL need some type of unzipping program...PKUNZIP, WINZIP, or STUFFIT for DOS computers to expand the file.
